About Us
The Boro Mac Shop is me,
Patrick Clark. I run a
one-man (for now)
Macintosh, iPhone & iPad repair shop
and I LOVE doing this
for a living.
I was first introduced
to the world of Apple
in early 1996 when I
took a job, fresh out
of ITT Tech, with a
large Nashville
concert lighting
company. I was to
build their Electronics
Repair Department
from nothing and I was
also to take on the task
of repairing and
maintaining their fleet
of about 20 Macs.
The geeks among you will like this: (come on, you know who you are, do I really have to point you out?)
This company, then the largest concert lighting company in the world, bought
and rented out many different brands of lighting equipment. But they also had
designed and built their own brand of moving light and control console.
And those moving lights and that console used the Motorola 68K processor.
And the software that controlled those lights was a custom build named Mac_icon
and it ran, you guessed it, on the Macintosh platform. System 7.5.3 is where the
many PowerBook 145’s, 160’s, and 180’s were then. Add in a bunch of Quadra 610’s,
PowerMac 7200 and 7500’s and you had my proud but aging fleet of road warrior
Macs (remember, this was rock ‘n roll, so those Macs lived a hard, hard life!)
I worked at this company till late 2002 when they up and left town. Since then I’ve
been working on Macs off and on until I decided to make a proper go of it and open
a Mac, iPhone, & iPad repair shop here in Murfreesboro, TN.
So here I am eager to help any and all with their Mac, iPhone, & iPad issues. Because I love the Apple product line and technology in general,
I try to provide service and help to everyone as though their Apple devices
belonged to me. I refuse to tell anyone to “just buy a new one” unless it truly is the
most logical move.
So stop by to see me, ask me anything you want about tech
and I will do my best to help you with it. I don’t pretend to know everything, but
I DO know where to find the answer!

Mission Statement
My single goal is to provide the best repair and support possible, for the best price possible.
I don't do this to get rich, I do it because I love Apple products and OS X in particular. I want each and every Apple user to have the best possible experience with their equipment.
I offer my services at a reasonable price by keeping up with what others charge and doing my absolute best to beat their prices. I'm able to do this because I don't have a big building to pay for, and I don't have a large staff to pay for. I keep my costs very low and you benefit directly from that.
I stand behind every piece of work that I do, and I rely on my satisfied clients to spread the word about me, and they do!
